Reason bidirectionally
Hold multiple levels of the SenseUp Model 360 in view without losing the occupational thread.
TSAC Advanced Certification is a six-month, competency-based programme for occupational therapists who have completed TSAC Lite and are ready to work the framework through real clinical complexity.
Bring one real child from your caseload and work through the full process with Kerry: assessment, hypothesis development, intervention planning, therapy refinement, documentation and reflection. Your case study becomes the thread that holds the six months together.
This is where TSAC becomes practice. Not generic clinical discussion. Not content for content's sake. Your practice, your child and your reasoning are held carefully with Kerry and the cohort.
Feedback from the 2026 cohort described a shift from deliberate, step-by-step reasoning towards more fluid clinical thinking, stronger occupational focus and greater confidence working at the edges of complexity.
Hold multiple levels of the SenseUp Model 360 in view without losing the occupational thread.
Develop hypotheses and intervention plans for layered presentations rather than straightforward cases.
Keep the child's meaningful occupations visible while reasoning through sensory, nervous system and functional needs.
Make your reasoning visible, communicate it clearly and work alongside clinicians who share the same foundation.
Advanced Certification is the next structured step for OTs ready to demonstrate their reasoning in practice.
The programme culminates in a three-day clinical immersion at Kerry's clinic on the Gold Coast, July 2027 (Intake 1), November 2027 (Intake 2). You move beyond discussing intervention and into observation, hands-on therapy implementation, direct mentoring, group clinical reasoning and real-time refinement of your thinking.
The 2027 retreat gives a clear picture of the immersive structure you can expect. It moved through three stages:
The images and retreat structure shown here are from the June 2026 Advanced Certification Retreat. Future retreat schedules may vary while retaining the same clinical immersion intent.
The retreat creates protected space to watch, reason, test, discuss and integrate with clinicians who already speak the same clinical language.
Certification reflects demonstrated knowledge and application, not attendance alone. The sample certificate shown is representative of the credential awarded following successful completion of the Certification requirements.
Advanced Certification is deliberately small. Kerry works directly with the cohort as you bring assessment findings, hypotheses, intervention planning and clinical uncertainty into the group.
The aim is not to give you another list of answers. It is to strengthen the quality of the reasoning you use when the answer is not obvious.
Enrolment for the 2027 Advanced Certification opens in November 2026. There will be two intakes for the year, with each group capped at a maximum of 10 students to protect the small-group mentoring experience.

TSAC Lite builds the foundation. Advanced Certification asks you to demonstrate and refine that foundation through a real case, competency milestones, advanced clinical reasoning, intervention planning, professional documentation and the Gold Coast clinical immersion.
The Advanced Certification runs over six months and combines on-demand learning, live group education and case discussion, milestone work, individual clinical application and the three-day retreat.
Yes. Your case becomes the clinical thread through the programme. You will use assessment, reasoning, goal setting and intervention planning from your own practice as you progress through the competency milestones.
The retreat is a three-day clinical immersion at SenseUp. The 2026 retreat included observation and debriefing, real-time clinical reasoning, case and therapy-plan work, small-group collaboration, practical integration and structured cohort reflection. Future retreat schedules may vary.
No. The Sensory Immersion Retreat is part of the Advanced Certification pathway and is integrated into the competency-based learning experience.
Advanced Certification is capped at a maximum of 10 occupational therapists per cohort so there is space for meaningful case discussion, clinical reasoning and direct mentoring.
Students who successfully complete the programme requirements receive a Competency-Based Certification in The SenseUp Approach. A sample certificate is shown above so you can see the style and scope of the credential.
