Kerry Evetts - paediatric occupational therapist with 27 years of clinical experience, MOT (UKZN), Gold Coast Australia, and founder of SenseUp Training - is returning to South Africa for one day only. She trained here. She knows this landscape. And she has spent the last five years building a professional development programme that now reaches thousands of OTs from across the world.

This is that programme. Brought home. Built for you.

  • Saturday 5 September 2026 (08:00 - 17:00 SAST)
  • Curro Primary Salt Rock, Ballito - Hosted by Ashley Dearling OT

What this full day offers you:

The morning - The Shared Lens Workshop - brings you into the same room as allied health professionals and educators who work with the same children you do. You will encounter frameworks that are reshaping how we think about sensory integration in context: Polyvagal Theory and co-regulation in the therapy room; trauma-sensitive care and how adverse experiences interact with a child's sensory processing; and a deeper look at how we work with families, school teams, and other clinicians to create the conditions in which a child can genuinely participate and grow.

Then in the afternoon, you roll up your sleeves. The SenseUp Model of Practice. ASI Process Fidelity. Equipment design and use - suspension and non-suspension. Small-group case study: translating clinical reasoning into therapeutic practice. Responsive, affirming treatment that reads the child on the day rather than following a fixed plan.

Twenty OTs. One room. Strictly limited - and for good reason.

OTs who have done a full day with Kerry leave differently. That is not a claim. That is what the feedback says, every single time.
